Natural Dye – Eco Printing – Tea + Coffee

At the bottom of the card are stapled two linen fabric samples. The one on the left is labeled coffee and is a grey with two eco printed black dots. The one of the right is labeled tea and is a brownish grey with black eco printed splotches in the lower right corner.

Coffee fabric sample – Tea fabric sample

  • Ferns
  • Sumac berries
  • Sumac leaves
  • Oak leaves
  • Maple leaves
  • Queen Anne’s lace
  • calendula
  • 12 tea bags
  • 50 g coffee

7/13/19 –

  • Soak linen for eco printing
  • Simmer tea + coffee for45 minutes
  • Simmer wrapped bundles for 1 hour
  • Rest for 1 hour
  • Add back to pots to soak and cool overnight
  • Wash and rinse with Soak
